  1. This file should be in each directory accessible by ftp.
  2. When a user cd's to this directory, the contents of this file
  3. is sent to the user. You can put descriptions of the files,
  4. or the purpose of the directory in this file!
  5. Eg. if your anonymous ftp access is the /public directory,
  6. with directories incoming, jnos40, beta
  7. you can create the following descriptive text files
  8. /public/incoming/desc.ftp
  9. /public/jnos40/desc.ftp
  10. and
  11. /public/beta/desc.ftp
